The offering of Black Opus Vol. 1 is only the beginning for the digital publisher as the roster of titles and talent comes together. Comic book traditionalist will be surprised by the readability of this digital comic and the quality of the work.”
Mr. Flowers went on to say, “Dog Star Comics was born out of necessity. Fundamentally, the distribution system for comic books is broken. Our intention is to bring our comics directly to those who want to read them. We’ve been busy putting together an outstanding pool of talent that will bring some extraordinary content to our readers. We have zombies, vampires and other dark tales of murder and horror coming down the pike. Black Opus will give you a taste.”

Does anyone know that Black Opus Vol. 1 was originally published by the same company that published The Crow? By launching this, Dog Star Comics are set in a pre-launch mode where they are determined to raise funds for pursuing their dream of bringing high quality horror and dark comics into the digital age.
