Dave is right. LSP had a really good management team at one time but there have been so many exec changes and those changes brought in the politics which changed the entire family philosophy that LSP promoted. It went from a one for all all for one, let’s get the job done no matter what it takes company, to a company where everyone was in it for themselves. These execs let the loyalty of their employees get lost and that is an absoulte shame. Hopefully gestamp will really evaluate those at the top and recognize when someone is better at playing a game vs really doing the necessary job at hand. I wish Gestamp and all of the worthy LSP employees great success.

Gestamp is a great thing for Tennessee. I hope when Gestamp purchases LSP automotive in Union, SC they revamp the Executive members and restructure that company from the COO to the HR manager. They have great people but forging document isnt the best way to do business.

This is great news for residents and employees of Chattanooga. In today’s doom and gloom climate it is rare to here of such news. Us Brits just got some good news on the same front, Nissan have decided to build a brand new factory to produce the new electric range. They say with the current threat of global warming that it will be good business for the company in the next couple of years – not to mention the jobs it will create keeping the local economy alive and kicking until the recession go’s away.

VW will be bringing with it more jobs than it will provide in their on plant. This has got to be good for Chattanooga.
