We’re excited to be bringing the Healthy Living Expo to the Chattanooga area October 1 & 2, 2010. The Healthy Living Expo is the regions largest event focused on Health, Fitness, Nutrition and Green Living. With celebrity guests, FREE health screenings, fitness and cooking demonstrations visitors will find numerous ways to improve their health. Show hours are Friday 9 am to 3 pm, Saturday 9 am to 5 pm. FREE admission for visitors over age 55 and children 12 and under. General admission is $8 at the door. Thousands of free tickets will be distributed at area BI-LO, Walgreens and Rush locations starting next week.

Cherish Studio offering hair cutting on sliding scale

Chanté Newcomb, owner of Ego Salon & Studio in Chattanooga, TN, began volunteering her Services as a stylist a few months ago. She started by collecting hair products to donate to local women’s shelters, and later participated as lead “shaver” in a St. Baldrick’s event raising money for pediatric cancer research. Yet, she still saw a huge need.
